In this workshop, I will share some fine-tuning details that have evolved over the years that I have been implementing the Thinking Classroom model. Participants will learn about task consolidation, room organization and assessment strategies while engaged in some of my favourite thinking tasks.

Michael is a high school mathematics teacher from North Vancouver. He has been teaching and researching the Thinking Classroom framework for 8 years, and is currently working towards his PhD at Simon Fraser University in the mathematics education department. He has lead many workshops across BC working with teachers and pre-service teachers in all areas around mathematics education. Michael is also an executive member with the BCAMT, sharing his experience as the high school representative, membership chair and a past president for this organization.
