Quizzes Where Wrong Answers Don't Count Against You

As we rightly focus on curricular competencies it remains critical that students master the content of each course. In this workshop I will talk about how I use daily quizzes for standards based assessment of content. I will discuss how setting the requirement that each standard be demonstrated twice creates low stakes assessments where “wrong answers don’t count against you,” and how this makes reassessments practical, and thus allows all students to achieve success.
