Where does math live in outdoor places and spaces?

Finding, doing and creating mathematics outdoors helps to broaden students' understanding of what mathematics is through making connections and seeing mathematics through a new lens. In this session, Janice will share ideas for taking mathematics outdoors, connecting story and math and also finding mathematics in unexpected spaces. Resources to support math learning outdoors will be shared along with examples from BC contexts.
